Hometown: Screven County, Go Gamecocks!
Education or work experience: Graduated Screven Co. High School 1995 with College Prep and Tech Prep Seal Diploma, Graduated 1996 Swainsboro Tech College Air Conditioning Technology. Began my HVAC service career training under the guidance of Mr. Lowell Hagan of H and O heating and air conditioning. When afforded the opportunity I was also schooled in the art of sheet metal magic by Mr. Wendell Hagan. 2002 changed career path to the Bulloch County Board of Education, where I performed repair and maintenance on Schools and Auxiliary Buildings, during this time I Acquired my GA Non-restricted HVAC license. 2005 began self-employment.
Certifications: 1996 HVAC Grad Swainsboro Tech, GA Non-restricted HVAC License, SC HVAC License, NATE & EPA Universal Certified.
Favorite aspect of my job: The most important accomplishment for me personally is to impart my knowledge to an employee and see them implement it in a real-world setting, especially when it involves problem solving. A good AC Tech is essentially a detective, listening to the customer, looking for clues and following where they lead will show them the problem.
Role model:
- My Mother – Always put our needs before hers, kept us in sports and out of trouble. She’s Awesome!
- My Father- probably had more faith in my ability than he should (was driving tractors and trucks in middle school)

- Lowell Hagan- HVAC service tech mentor
Interesting fact about me: My 2 favorite things to do at work, 1-Fix something that is Broken 2- Take a flat piece of metal and turn it into something useful Personally- I really love wing shooting with my dog Miller.
Best advice to customers: You know your house better than anyone else, if you notice changes in the house or the behavior of your HVAC system, trust your instincts and call. Yearly maintenance is a great idea. If you think it’s time to replace the air filter you’re right.
